Wordpress SEO
I have been working with Wordpress for about a year now. I have had a lot of money making blogs built with it and nothing works better with Search Engines than wordpress. Your content and ads are clearly placed in a benifiting manner to both your visitor and the search engine crawlers which get your site indexed faster.
Some of the SEO tips for wordpress -
- Wordpress Permalinks - Make sure you replace the usual
http://example.com/?p=N withhttp://example.com/category/post-name/.You can do this in your settings/permalinks/. This is much better for your site’s SERPS. - All in One SEO Pack - The SEO pack optimizes your post and blog setting for maximum keyword density by editing your title text and such. A must have. You can download the SEO pack here
- Permalink Edit - You might want to remove your
/catagory/ from the permalinks section by selecting custom permalinks. - XML Sitemaps - I have already stated it’s importance here
- KB Robots.txt plugin - This weans out the weak crawlers from the search engines to get your blog maximum search engine exposure to get the best SERPs. You can download it here
