Should I Make a Website Or A Blog?
After spending a few months on the sphere, you’ll face this question. Everyone does. I faced it and I was a proper mess for a month thinking about the future. I solved my problem, so I want to help you now.
Short term -
On a short term basis, blogs will seem to do so much better than websites. Because of the various plugins and the possibilities that WordPress has introduced, traffic will come quickly to blogs. But most people underestimate search engine traffic. Content sites will get as much of traffic as blogs do. All you need to do is work on good content and proper link building.
Let me make this properly clear, if you get 20-50 visitors to you site, you have the potential to get $1/day from Adsense.
Blogs and content sites are equal in this manner.
Long Term Basis -
On a long term basis, if you stick on the definition of blog and keep adding some content now and then, it will have even more pages indexed and more content available for the search engines to pick up. Content sites will not get you the same money and traffic as a huge blog unless it’s extra ordinary on a untapped niche.
