SEO – The Basics

There are loads of SEO articles on the web which "help you" to make money online. 99% of that is just a load of crap that can be dangerous to the rankings of your site. SEO is just helping that crawler to get your pages indexed and ranked. The crawler is like a baby . Give it guidelines and it will come to you.

Here are possibly the simplest and safest SEO tips you can find other than reading my blog.

• Content – I cannot stress this enough. Unique content will get you ranked high. Take my blog for example. I’m just a mediocre university student with no capital whatsoever. My blog ranks high for certain keywords because of the unique content in it.
• Your Basic Page Layout – Interlinking articles and links in your site is an excellent idea to get the crawlers deeper into your pages. I’ve also seen a clever way to do this. There was this site that made a lot of money with just content. I visited it and checked it out. The guy was a genius with simple SEO techniques. He had a small sentence below his footer that added a load of difference to his SERP’s. The sentence said "This site competes aggressively for the following keywords :" and he placed the list of the top keywords for that niche.
• Your Page Structure – make sure you have all your header and title tags correct along with the keywords in your text.
• Links – Get as many links as you can to your site
